Cynthia Wiggins
Cynthia Wiggins is a self-taught artist who has been drawing and painting since she was a child. She grew up in Texas but traveled extensively since her father was in the military. Her fondest memories were the four years she lived in Zaragoza, Spain as a teenager. Her parents took her to many European museums and art galleries where she learned about Goya, Rembrandt, Velasquez and more. The Prado Museum in Madrid was her favorite and she returned there many times as an adult. She took art lessons throughout the years as she raised three children. After her children were grown she was able to settle in Taos where she devoted her full time to painting and drawing.
She is featured in the Charles Morin Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas and Rob Nightingale’s Gallery in Taos.
